PoE 2 Unique Item Buying Checklist
Unique items are different from currency because the exact listing can matter. Before buying, confirm your build needs the item and that the listed version matches your plan.
Confirm the build reason
A chase unique is strongest when your character is ready to use it. If the rest of the build is unfinished, currency may produce a better upgrade path.
Read your build guide or planner first, then check the product page for matching item details.
Check the item variant
Look at rolls, corruption state, special variants, and any listed notes. Two items with the same name may not have the same value for your build.
If the product has variants, select the one you actually want before checkout.
Verify league and platform
Unique items follow the same delivery restrictions as currency. Platform, league, and mode must match your character.
